LONDON, August 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Builders merchants sales nation wide were 9.7% higher during the three months from April to June this year than the previous quarter's, according to figures published recently by the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
Comparing the 12 month period from June 2003 to June 2004 with the same period ending a year ago, the overall annual increase was 3.4%. The actual monthly increase was 2.5% up on June 2003.
As in some previous quarters' the BMF latest sales indices show that its Northern region members enjoyed the greatest year-on-year increase which, after seasonal adjustment, was up to a record 20.4%. The Wales ...
