Jan. 25--Women's Economic Ventures, the local non-profit organization dedicated to helping women become economically self-sufficient through entrepreneurship and career development, has expanded its reach to Hungary.
By invitation of the Hungarian government, WEV Executive Director Marsha Bailey and Development Director Judi Weisbart traveled to Budapest and Debrecen, Hungary, in November to offer two self-employment training sessions to women business owners.
The Hungarian workshops aren't the only sign of growth for the local organization. WEV also received a $250,000 grant from the Small Business Administration ...
