MAPLE -- Gov. Michael F. Easley lauded the ground-breaking plans of Tidewater Auto Auction during a ceremony Friday at the Currituck County A irport.
Easley spoke briefly before a group of about 50 people, including officials with the county and Tidewater Auto Auction. Rep. W.C. "Bill" Owens, D-Pasquotank, flew into Currituck from Raleigh withEasley.
"These jobs are going to be good jobs," Easley said in a conference room at the Currituck airport terminal.
