As the title indicates, it charts the Aboriginal history of Kangaroo Island, which is located off" the coast of South Australia. It is a lively and well-written book that touches on many issues of contemporary debate. With this text, the author, Rebe Taylor, has made a significant contribution to contemporary understanding of race relations and contact history.
