Aug. 13--RIO RANCHO, N.M. -- Intel has been negotiating a $16 billion industrial revenue bond deal with Sandoval County, which supporters say would ensure the semiconductor giant's presence in New Mexico for years to come.
Supporters also say the deal means up to $95 million in revenue for Sandoval County over the next 15 years.
Two county commissioners have been talking with Intel for months, and the full commission is set to vote on the proposal Thursday.
