Aug. 13--Got heartburn?
You're in trouble if you want the highly popular heartburn tablets, Prilosec OTC.
Most pharmacies in Savannah are sold out or running low on the over-the-counter acid indigestion medicine. The nationwide industry shortage may last for a few months.
Why? The drug manufacturer's production abilities couldn't match the demand.
