Makati City and Metro Manila transport groups have demanded the adoption and implementation of the single ticketing system against motorists, especially drivers of public utility vehicles caught with traffic violations on major transport streets in the capital region.
At the same time, the groups led by the Philippine Jeepney and Operators and Drivers Alliance Foundation (PJODAF) said the government must also put a stop "decisively" to the operations of the so called "kotong cops" (extorting traffic policemen), who have been victimizing passenger vehicle drivers since the past.
