Aug. 16--BEQUEST TO AID LIBRARY PROGRAM: A $2.25 million legacy from the late professor Sarah Law Kennerly will help the University of North Texas' School of Library and Information Sciences keep its national ranking as one of the best in that field.
Her donation will create up to six professorships, and recipients can use the funds to supplement research, travel for professional enrichment and add to their salaries.
Dr. Kennerly, who died in 2002, was the UNT Emeritus Professor of Library and Information Sciences after she retired in 1977. She taught children's ...
