Genetix has announced a 3-colour aQuire dual-laser microarray scanner for detection of GFP, fluorescein and a range of other fluorophores, providing verstatility for imaging DNA, protein, cell and tissue arrays. The standard aQuire scanner is fitted with two lasers (red and green) for simultaneous detection of popular microarray dyes such as Cy3 and Cy5. The optional upgrade to the third laser (blue, 488 nm) enables imaging of cell and tissue arrays expressing GPF-tagged proteins or DNA and protein arrays stained with fluorescein (FITC).
