Shetland Coastguard received a '999' call from a lady on a mobile telephone aboard a small motor boat. The boat had lost its steering and was heading for the rocks, north of Bressay at about 3.00 p.m. this afternoon.
The motor boat 'Urla' 20 foot in length had three persons aboard all locals to Lerwick. The casaulty reported there was a vessel in the area but they could not raise its attention. Shetland Coastguard requested the launch of the RNLI Lerwick lifeboat and the assistance of the Lerwick Coastguard ...
