Jan. 24--In a nod to the growing Hispanic economic and political influence, and for the first time in Orange County, the Republican gubernatorial candidates will address a group of Hispanic leaders and business owners Friday.
The three candidates, former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, businessman Bill Simon and California Secretary of State Bill Jones -- who are facing off in the March primary for the right to challenge incumbent Democrat Gray Davis -- are expected to discuss a wide range of topics, with an emphasis on business.
