Aug. 15--This is a story about a bologna sandwich on raisin bread and national security.
On a recent family vacation, my nephew, Natty (short for Nathaniel as in Bumppo, from "Last of the Mohicans"), told us about his difficult job search in Washington, D.C., where he'd been living since his graduation from Kenyon College in Ohio.
He put on his job-search uniform of dress trousers, button-down oxford shirt, and his Kenyon tie, leaving off his jacket because it was a hot day in the nation's capital.
