Article: National Cold War memorial in demand.(mail call)(Letter to the Editor)

As a veteran of two Cold War operations, I applaud "Cold War Casualties Cry Out for Commemoration" (May) by Richard Fournier. I served in Korea at the DMZ in 1964. And in the Dominican Republic in 1965, I saw the results of combat firsthand as U.S. soldiers and Marines died there.

Because of your article, I am now aware of some memorials to Cold War heroes. Since there is no national memorial, I must return to Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Camp Red Cloud, Korea, to pay my respects to those who did not return.

Thank you for a wonderful article. I found myself rereading many parts so I could capture all of it. Please let me point ...
