Child care centers in three states may get some surprise visitors this year with a new voter mobilization campaign that targets parents and child development centers.
The Every Child Matters campaign is focusing on three states--New Hampshire, Washington and West Virginia--with a variety of education and non-partisan outreach efforts. The goal is to "get people to vote and ask questions of the candidates," said Angela Madnick, public affairs director for the Washington, D.C., organization.
