Throughout its history, the FleetBoston Oldtime Baseball Game has been a celebration of baseball and a vehicle for some of Greater Boston's best amateur players to showcase their skills.
But the game has always had room for the occasional oldtimer - the kind of player who has already made a living as a professional athlete and is now "giving something back" by making an appearance with the college boys.
