One way of marking International Women's Day is through acknowledging particular women, especially when the lives of these women embrace so many struggles. Mildred Lamb comes to my mind this March, as she comes to the minds of many women in Winnipeg when we think of someone who has lived, and is still living, a fully political life.
Politics, for Milly, is not a collection of attitudes or stances to be pulled off a hanger and flung over the shoulders en route to a demonstration.
