WASHINGTON - The Health Insurance Association of America derided charges by Citizen Action, a consumer activist organization, that it is waging "a multi-million dollar propaganda campaign to discredit the Canadian single payer health care system and defeat national health insurance in Congress."
Citizen Action headquarters in Washington, D.C. issued "A Guide to the HIAA's Health Care Deception and Myths," which says it "exposes HIAA's most flagrant deceptions - as contained in a recent HIAA advertisement."
