The performance of the call centers companies is beating the sector's expectations. In the period between January and June 2004, Contax expected a 15% expansion of the market as a whole. But the company owned by Telemar group registered a gross turnover of R$312mil, a boom of 61% when compared to same period in 2003. The outstanding performance led the company to revise upwards its investments plans for 2004, from R$40mil to R$80mil.
