FuelCell Energy, Inc. recently announced it is donating emissions credits to Leonardo Academy, Inc.'s Cleaner and Greener program in order to compensate for emissions associated with last week's Energy 2004 Workshop and Exposition in New York.
FuelCell Energy said it intends to donate emissions credits equivalent to 1,700 pounds of nitrogen oxide (NOx) reductions and 4,800 pounds of sulfur oxide (SOx), and other emissions reductions resulting from 1,170 megawatt (MW) hours of fuel cell-generated power from the company's Danbury and Torrington, CT plants.
