Richmond, Va. -- University of Richmond Stadium is where the Syracuse Salty Dogs' A-League season started to turn around. After falling behind to a strange own goal Wednesday night, the battling Salty Dogs scored twice late to stun the Richmond Kickers 2-1 and extend their unbeaten streak to 12 matches.
The Salty Dogs (14-7-5), third in the Eastern Conference with 47 points, will make the playoffs for the first time if they defeat the Atlanta Silverbacks on Friday night in their final regular-season home game.
