Aug. 20--BERNALILLO, N.M. -- A proposed multibillion-dollar bond deal between Sandoval County and Intel received its first vote of approval Thursday.
The County Commission unanimously approved Intel's application for a $16 billion industrial revenue bond at its meeting Thursday night.
The vote opens a 60-day comment period before commissioners cast two more votes on the deal.
But they got a glimpse of what residents thought of the deal before voting.
