Peter Guber's Mandalay Entertainment and artist-management company Mosaic Media Group have joined forces to take control of Dick Clark Productions and use that company as a launchpad to develop reality series, half-hour shows and dramas.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but the deal involved Mandalay's acquiring the Canadian assets of Dick Clark Productions and combining them with the controlling stake in the United States assets that Mosaic purchased more than two years ago.
