Comedy got Jamie Foxx's career started, but dramatic acting and singing may make him a superstar.
Oscar buzz is already surrounding Foxx, a 36-year-old Texas native described by some film critics as "the next Denzel," for his dramatic performances in "Collateral" and "Ray," a film about Ray Charles' life, set for release in late October.
"A lot of people say, don't jinx it. Don't say Oscar. But I say, SAY IT!" he says, laughing.
