HAVEN, Wis. -Rather than walk the long way around the clubhouse Monday afternoon, a heavyset older man with an imposing beard decided to crash the PGA's VIP hospitality patio located above Whistling Straits' 18th hole.
As the man shoved open a large, green barrier to gain access to the patio, an overeager security guard rushed over to issue a scolding.
"You've got to go around, sir," the guard yelled without forgetting his Wisconsin-forged manners. "You can't do that."
Just as the man looked up at his accuser, the guard's partner suggested he not be so zealous.
