NEW YORK -- The Bank of New York, a global leader in securities servicing, has been appointed by the Central de Deposito de Valores, S.A de C.V. (CEDEVAL), the central depository of El Salvador, as global custodian for its $1 billion in international assets. The Bank also intends to offer custody outsourcing to CEDEVAL's members and participants.
