DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Data Points Reveal What Parents Really Think About Back-to-School Products, Priorities and Preparation
When given the opportunity to choose someone to teach their child for a day (from among six celebrities), parents placed Bill Gates at the head of the class -- Oprah Winfrey finished a distant second and Donald Trump received the fewest votes. (Presumably parents were wary of their children being told, "You're fired.")
The nationwide survey of more than 2,000 parents who have children aged 5-18 years was conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Office Depot (NYSE:ODP), one of the world's leading resellers of school supplies.
