Interchangeable SLR Lenses
In an earlier article ("An Ideal Digital Camera," Journal, October 2003), I discussed the useful features of digital SLR cameras. The ability to utilize existing 35 mm format lenses having similar mounts is an important consideration since camera costs are closely linked with pixel resolution and lens quality. Generally these CPU lenses can be used with full automatic functions while non-CPU lenses are confined to use in the manual mode.
