Marianske Lazne spa posts sales of CZK 330 mln in Jan-June
Prague. August 23. INTERFAX EUROPE - Lecebne lazne Marianske Lazne (LLML), one of the largest spa companies in the CR, recorded sales of CZK 331 mln in 1H 2004, the company announced on Monday.
The spa made a pre-tax profit of CZK 77 mln.
Sales rose in 2004, says LLML, but yr/yr comparisons are not valid due to a change in accounting methods.
LLML attributes its improved results to the dissolution of reserves, worth CZK 37 mln, for repairs of tangible fixed assets.
