THE development of ties with Iran is a priority for post-war GCC states but this will not stretch to any military agreement on Gulf security, according to GCC secretary-general Abdullah Bishara. A good relationship with iran "tallies with our objectives and we are anxious to promote relations," he said in an interview with MEED on 24 February.
