ATLANTA - Reebok International Ltd., Stoughton, Mass., has filed a countersuit against Sports Step Inc., an Atlanta-based manufacturer of step aerobics products, asking that Sports Step honor the terms of an agreed-upon license agreement. Reebok also responded to an earlier suit filed by Sports Step and denied causing any damage to that company.
Sports Step filed suit Feb. 11 in the U.S. District Court in Atlanta, asking the court to prohibit Reebok from releasing its own step products and "Step Reebok: The Video." On Feb. 21, Reebok filed a response to that suit and a countersuit asking for damages.
