NEW YORK -- Jeffrey Simpson, the owner of Casi Designs Ltd., has launched a better-price dress line for fall bearing the Jeffrey Simpson label.
Simpson, the son of retired designer-manufacturer Adele Simpson, has brought in his brother-in-law, Richard Raines, as vice president and sales manager for the new collection. Raines and his wife, Joan, had been running Adele Simpson Inc. until they sold their interest in the firm in January 1991 to Baron Peters Inc.
Anthony Muto, formerly a designer for Adele Simpson, will design the Jeffrey Simpson line.
