Aug. 25--BRADENTON, Fla. -- The company behind a proposed development where interstates 75 and 275 cross in the north county has sold about one third of the property to Richmond American Homes for $10 million. The national homebuilder plans 127 homes.
Palmetto-based Zirkelbach Construction Inc. plans to break ground in the fourth quarter on the $122-million, 200-acre development, which, in addition to new homes, will feature 800,000 square feet of commercial development to include office space, distribution centers, retail and restaurants.
