IF a scriptwriter was to pitch a story of an unknown musician who gets signed by one the biggest record companies after producers hear his music played by chance in a barber shop, most film makers would label it unrealistic.
When you add in the twist that the CD they heard was one of only a handful made for friends and that the musician is a North Walian and the barber shop is in New York it would be regarded as pure fantasy.
But for Adam Narkiewicz, a 24-year-old former pupil of Ysgol Friars, Bangor, this seemingly far-fetched story line happened to come true.
