TORONTO, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Store Closing Sales began today in 92 of Denninghouse, Inc.'s company-owned Buck or Two and Great 88 stores across Canada.

Denninghouse sought protection pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") on August 16, 2004. RSM Richter Inc. is the court- appointed CCAA Monitor.

The closing of the corporate locations is a key first step in the restructuring of the business and operations of Denninghouse. Denninghouse has previously advised that this step was required in order to allow its restructuring to focus on preserving the value of its franchise business.
