Article: University of Rhode Island gets big biotechnology boost with federal grant.

Aug. 25--A $16.5-million federal grant -- the second highest ever received by the University of Rhode Island -- will promote biomedical research at six area colleges and help to secure Rhode Island's foothold in the competitive biomedical field.
