TONY Blair was plunged into a new ' cash for favours' row last night after it emerged that a controversial drugs tycoon gave Labour more than [pounds sterling]500,000 only weeks after receiving a peerage.
The extraordinary donation from multimillionaire Paul Drayson led to new accusationsof sleaze and calls for donations to political parties to be capped.
Lord Drayson, who was made a working peer by Mr Blair in May, has already been at the centre of one dispute over Labour funding.
