KATE WINSLET is the latest victim of the property market lottery. A house the actress sold in February 2002 for [pounds sterling]985,000 is again on the market, but now the price tag on the five-bedroom property is [pounds sterling]1.5 million.
The Pump House, built in 1860 as a pumping station, has five bedrooms over three floors. The main drawing room has a magnificent vaulted ceiling, and the handsome exterior has vast arched windows.
Winslet, 28, moved into the house, on an island close to Walton-on-Thames, in 2000 with her husband at the time, Jim Threapleton, and baby daughter Mia.
