Proceeds from home sale will benefit Eugene Opera

Custom home-builder Dan Heitman of Eugene will donate part of the proceeds from the sale of one new home to Eugene Opera.

The 3,000 square-foot ``opera house,'' at 3396 Southview Drive in the Hawkins View subdivision, will be open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Its features include floors crafted from Travertine, marble and Brazilian walnut; cherry wood cabinets; granite countertops; stainless steel appliances; and a lifetime tile roof.
