Five districts in Oswego County will start the school year with new faces in the superintendents' office.
Deborah Haab in Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, Michael DeFabio in Hannibal, Rita Racette in Phoenix and Stewart Amell in Sandy Creek assumed their new positions July 1.
Retired Phoenix Superintendent Michael Maroun also began July 1 as Oswego's interim superintendent. The board is looking for a permanent replacement for Kenneth Eastwood, who left June 30 to head the Middletown school district.
