Aug. 26--In two decades with the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, Robert Peche was the man behind the scenes in attracting a Toyota plant, SBC Communications headquarters, a massive Citicorp service center and dozens more job-producing companies.
But Peche has turned to a new kind of economic development that focuses on the East Side area around the SBC Center on behalf of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, where he is vice president of corporate affairs and development.
