Aug. 26--The gold keeps flowing in for NBC.
Thanks to strong ratings for the Athens Olympics, NBC sold an additional $20 million to $30 million in ads in recent days, sources said.
That's on top of the $1 billion target the Peacock net hit before the Games began.
The Olympics are a big win for General Electric-owned NBC Universal, which took a risk in airing 1,210 hours of Olympics on NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, USA, Bravo and Telemundo.
