MINNEAPOLIS -- FAMOUS DAVE'S OF AMERICA, INC. (Nasdaq:DAVE) President and CEO David Goronkin announced today that Star Ribs North, L.P. has purchased the right to franchise 10 Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que(R) restaurants and Star Ribs South, L.P. has purchased the right to franchise 8 Famous Dave's restaurants. The 18 new restaurants will be located in Southern and Central California.
