As just about every car maker now offers factory installed Global Positioning Systems (GPS) based navigation systems, the automotive aftermarket tries to keep up.
The idea of a "NAV" system (that's what many refer to the system as) is to help drivers find their way when driving. You can plug in an address, a particular town, or even ask the system to find you the nearest location of an ATM machine. All the NAV systems work very much alike. Most navigation systems will give you both turn- by-turn route advice by voice or on-screen information.
