HOUSTON -- Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE:HLT) today announced that the Doubletree Hotel Houston-Post Oak, located in the heart of the Uptown Houston business district, will be rebranded and renamed the Hilton Houston Post Oak after the completion of a $13 million hotel-wide renovation. The modernization project will begin immediately and is anticipated to be concluded in the first quarter of 2005.
This is part of a six-hotel renovation project by Slohat Hotels L.P., a joint venture of affiliates of USAA Real Estate Co. and Hilton Hotels Corp., which began this summer and will continue through early next year. Other hotels in this enhancement project include the ...
