I have an unusual problem. My PC started emitting a horrible odor after just a few months of use. It smells like an electrical fire, and the odor has all but permeated my home. It seems as though the odor is coming from the power supply. The manufacturer sent me two new power supplies: One is the same as the original (350 watts), and the other is a 420-watt supply that contains a second fan. I installed the second new power supply (with additional fan) a few days ago, and the smell still lingers, though I'm not sure if the existing odor just hasn't dissipated or if something else is causing the burning smell.
