The house lights went down in the movie theater just as the woman and her young son were returning from the bathroom.
She couldn't see in the dark so she froze in place, right next to my aisle seat.
As her son clutched her hand, she waited until the screen was bright enough for her to return to her seat. The screen did light up right away but the woman did not move. She was mesmerized by the horrifying scene unfolding in front of her.
