Former University of Wisconsin golfer Malinda Johnson won the season-ending York (Pa.) Futures Classic in a playoff Sunday, giving the Eau Claire native her biggest payday as a professional with a $10,500 prize.
But she won more than that. The victory boosted her season earnings to $35,356, moving her from 11th place to fifth on the Futures Tour's season money list -- the final spot for players to earn a 2005 LPGA Tour exemption card.
