Aug. 30--Howard Dukes has a message for potential home buyers in Las Cruces.
"If you see a house and you like it, depending on the price range, if it's under $200,000, it's probably not going to be (on the market) for long," said Dukes, president of the Las Cruces Association of Realtors. "Unless it's really hammered, those homes are not going to last a long period of time." Dukes, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker, said the market in Las Cruces is strong. He and his wife moved to southern New Mexico from Utah several years ago and he said the change in just three years has been significant.
