Article: Dow increases prices of products in Asia Pacific.(Foreign Company)

Dow Latex, the latex business of Dow Chemical Company has announced that it will increase the prices of its styrene/butadiene (S/B) latex and plastic pigment products by US$0.10 per kilogram in Asia Pacific. The increase will be effective August 2, 2004 and will affect customers in the coated paper and carpet industries in Asia Pacific. The continued escalation and volatility in oil and derivatives costs is the primary reason for the price increase.
