HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Enhancements Boost Reliability and Promote Needed Investment in Power Supplies

ISO New England Inc., the operator of the region's bulk power system and wholesale electricity markets, today filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) enhancements to an earlier proposal that will bring about solutions for the region's long-term power supply needs, called Locational Installed Capacity (Locational ICAP). The enhancements submitted today address FERC's guidance on the development of this market.
